Responsibilities
innovaTel is looking for exceptional clinicians that are passionate about their work and have experience working with the SMI and co-occurring populations. At innovaTel, we provide a tremendous amount of support to our clinical team and want our clinicians to be able to focus on what’s most important, and that’s patient care.
- The therapist should be experienced in common therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBT and Motivational Interviewing.
- The therapist should be well versed in using EHRs, confident in a virtual setting, and the ability to perform concurrent documentation.
- Deliver excellent care to a diverse set of clients (socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation etc.) to patients of organizations that partner with innovaTel.
- In addition to patient care, therapists often participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other members of the clinical teams.

Clinical Interview
Once a solid match has been identified, candidates will complete a clinical interview with one of our clinical directors.

Meet Implementation Team
Clinical liaisons will provide candidates with the details of a specific contract and help them prepare for their interview with the organization.
STEP FIVE
Interview with the Organization
This interview, between innovaTel’s candidate and the organization, will determine if the organization and the provider are well matched.
STEP SIX
Confirm a Match
Once a match has been made between a provider and an organization, the provider will sign a contract with innovaTel.
STEP SEVEN
Onboarding
Providers are offered training with innovaTel, and become familiar with their organization, the telehealth platform and the organization’s EHR system.
Ongoing Support
innovaTel assigns all partners a Clinical Liaison — an experienced psychiatric nurse — to design customized workflows with the organization to ensure seamless integration.
All providers have the on-going support of this Clinical Liaison in their day-to-day work.
Who We Hire
Simply put, innovaTel looks for dedicated LCSWs/LISWs/LICSWs committed to offering the highest quality care. Every provider must:
- Hold an active license in any U.S. state
- Reside in the U.S.
- Be able to work at least 16+ hours per week
