Meet our Senior Business Development Executive for telepsychiatry, Lennie Carter

Lennie joined the innovaTel by Quartet team earlier this year and has hit the ground running, helping organizations overcome the provider staffing shortage across the U.S. We asked Lennie to share a little about himself ahead of the upcoming conference:

Q: What’s your role at innovaTel? 

A: As a Senior Business Development Executive, I specialize in providing access to highly qualified telepsychiatry behavioral health providers through innovaTel by Quartet. With a deep understanding of the unique staffing needs of various healthcare organizations, I offer tailored staffing solutions. My focus is on presenting the value and benefits of innovaTel’s services, guiding potential partners through strategic discussions, and emphasizing the long-term benefits and enhanced care delivery afforded by telepsychiatry and teletherapy.

Q: What’s a unique, fun fact about yourself? 

A: I’m a basketball coach and mental health mentor for youth. This role allows me to combine my love for sports with my commitment to promoting mental well-being among young people. I bring energy, enthusiasm, and passion to every practice and game. Additionally, mentoring young athletes about mental health teaches them the importance of teamwork, resilience and mental health awareness.

Q: What are you looking forward to most at the NACHC CHI & Expo?

A: I’m looking forward to engaging with industry leaders and like-minded professionals who are passionate about improving community health. I’m excited to share how innovaTel’s innovative remote telepsychiatry staffing model can support underserved clinics, drive positive patient outcomes and integrate seamlessly with existing healthcare organizations. Additionally, I’m eager to learn about the latest trends and challenges in the field, network with peers and explore potential collaborations that can further enhance our mission of delivering quality behavioral health care to those in need.
