PMHNPs
Responsibilities
Psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) on the innovaTel clinical team will provide a full range of psychiatric services utilizing telehealth technology. The majority of innovaTel’s clinical partnerships are with outpatient facilities that are looking for set weekly schedules based on provider availability. innovaTel has part-time and full-time positions available nationwide. At innovaTel, we provide a tremendous amount of support to our clinical team and want our clinicians to be able to focus on what’s most important, and that’s patient care.
- Be able to develop a strong rapport with patients exclusively through the telehealth modality.
- Provide effective management of psychiatric care including initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management reviews in accordance to established clinical guidelines.
- Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the on-site clinical team.
- Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by compliance standards.

Once a solid match has been identified, candidates will complete a clinical interview with one of our clinical directors.

Meet Implementation Team
Clinical liaisons will provide candidates with the details of a specific contract and help them prepare for their interview with the organization.
STEP FIVE
Interview with the Organization
This interview, between innovaTel’s candidate and the organization, will determine if the organization and the provider are well matched.
STEP SIX
Confirm a Match
Once a match has been made between a provider and an organization, the provider will sign a contract with innovaTel.
STEP SEVEN
Onboarding
Providers are offered training with innovaTel, and become familiar with their organization, the telehealth platform and the organization’s EHR system.
Ongoing Support
innovaTel assigns all partners a Clinical Liaison — an experienced psychiatric nurse — to design customized workflows with the organization to ensure seamless integration.
All providers have the on-going support of this Clinical Liaison in their day-to-day work.
Who We Hire
Simply put, we look for exceptional providers committed to offering exceptional care. innovaTel focuses on hiring three types of providers in order to improve access to care and help organizations help patients. Every psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner and licensed clinical social worker who applies to innovaTel must:
- Hold an active medical license in any U.S. state
- Reside in the U.S.
- Be able to work at least 16+ hours per week
- Be board certified or board eligible
