Welcome: Family & Children’s Services & Dr. Adam Ruggle

innovaTel would like to give a warm welcome to Family & Children’s Services, one of our newest customers located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Family & Children’s Services promotes, supports and strengthens the well-being and behavioral health of adults, children and families. They are the leading provider of behavioral healthcare and family services in the Tulsa area.

innovaTel is looking forward to supporting Family & Children’s Services’ mission via telepsychiatry by increasing their patients access to timely psychiatric care by providing access to a full-time psychiatrist, Dr. Adam Ruggle. Dr. Ruggle resides in Arizona and is one of the newest members of the innovaTel clinical team.

Members of the innovaTel team, including Jon Evans, Lee Penman, Lindsay Jeglinski and Dr. Ruggle, recently visited Family & Children Services facility in Tulsa. They had the opportunity to meet the Family & Children’s Services team to provide support and to collaborate on setting up telepsychiatry workflows. The implementation process that innovaTel provides leaves the clinical staff feeling confident and enthusiastic about utilizing telemedicine and the processes.

Telepsychiatry is a great solution to the growing shortage of psychiatrists and the increasing unmet mental health needs. Telepsychiatry provides positive satisfaction consistently in adults, child and adolescent patients and their families, as well as providers and clinicians. Research supports there is no difference in patient treatment outcomes between telepsychiatry and in-person encounters.
